The Raffles is known for not having any guest rooms - they only offer suites. Some of the famous people who have stayed at Raffles include President George H.W. Bush, Rudy Giuliani, Michael Jackson, and Beyonce Knowles.Prior to the wedding, he met a friend at the "Long Bar" (birthplace of the Singapore Sling) for a quick drink. The bad news is that as we were about to enter the reception, my Singaporean friend told me that people usually don't wear suits to weddings unless they are working at the venue. The good news is that I made $17 in tips. All in all it was a very fun night.
