My Daddy's Off To OZ (again).......

No, he's not wearing sparkly red shoes and clicking his heels. Oz is what the Aussies call their homeland; Australia.
He will be home in 5.5 days. That's complicated for me comprehend, so my mommy made me one of Daddy's famous count down chains.
It made me sad to say good bye to Daddy this morning. So my mommy helped cheer me up by making me a SECOND count down chain!
This chain is to count down the 7 days until I get to hug my Uncle Chad & Aunt Nicole in my very own sunny Singapore!
I am sooooooooo EXCITED for their visit! THANK YOU LOUIS FOR SHARING THEM WITH ME! (Thank you Grammy Di & Grandpa for babysitting my cuz.) See you guys soon!

Busted!

Sadie was caught in action as she logged on to help Daddy with some of his work:

Happy 11 Month Birthday, Sadie!

Sadie turned 11 months old on February 20. Her friend George helped celebrate:

...and we sang to her to make it official:

before wrapping up the night with a delicious treat - Sadie couldn't wait to cruise around the table and devour the dessert:

Its a little pitchy, dawg

Is Sadie the next American Idol? Here she is playing with her new soundstage, a Christmas gift from Grammy Di and Grandpa. Let's hope she is more Carrie Underwood than William Hung:

Gong Xi Fa Cai

For all of you ang mo's out there, February 14 was all about Valentine's Day, chocolates, and Wilson Phillips ballads (I'm looking at you, Karen). For Asia, it was the official start of Chinese New Year. 2010 is the Year of the Tiger. Other famous "Tigers" include Mr. Woods, Mr. Jason Wilt, and Mr. Chad Duppong. In related news, the senior minister of Singapore is concerned that fertility rates will drop this year because of superstitions about characteristics of people born in the Year of the Tiger (true story).

We celebrated by going out to a nice dinner for Valentine's Day on Saturday night. On the official February 14, we took Sadie to see a famous Lion Dance. Here is a picture of Mommy and Sadie in their colorful outfits:

Here is Sadie perched on Daddy's shoulders...

....and a video of what she was watching:

At the celebration, she also posed with Mommy and Norma, her favorite local babysitter:

In the afternoon, we took advantage of the nice weather to take Sadie for her first extended trip in the pool. After some sunscreen, she modeled off her hat and swimsuit:

...and really enjoyed her raft in the pool (thanks, Maggie!):

We wrapped up by the pool with some cozy towels...

And after such a big day, she was content to just zone out and suck down some cool refreshment:

A Puzzle Wrapped in a Riddle

Sadie figured out that her playmat is made up of individual puzzle pieces. Here she gets up close and personal with one of the Winnie the Pooh pieces:

Speed Racer

Sadie has been cruising the hallways at Treetops in her new toy from Nani and Papi. She hasn't quite mastered the rules of the road yet, so if you see her coming your way, just dive out of the way.

She also loves being pulled around in her plush, custom-made box courtesy of Grandpa and Grammy Di:

My Home in Minnesota!

Another day on the road! Jeepers...when are we going to stay put?

We are finally here. I tried to unpack us, but Mom & Dad said we aren't staying. I am confused.

So this is my American home....

Thanks for going out right away & buying me this soft new rug for my knees Daddy.

After over a week of lots of shopping & work by my mom & dad, I was told we are flying the 30 hours back to Singapore. I was just starting to get used to this place. Though, I do miss the warm, sunny weather. I guess I'll help Dad confirm our flights. More travel, hmmm, those palm trees better be extra pretty when I get back.

Happy New Years or Merry Levesque Christmas...

Keep reading the 'Night Before Christmas' Grammy. I'm listening...just trying to check out Louis' toys before he notices.
Ohhhhh cake. My parents ate all of Nani & Papi's cake & didn't even spare me a flower. Hope you Levesques will save me one for my second Christmas celebration.Never mind, I think Daddy is a little too excited about the cake. We'll let him eat it all.Boy, I am a lucky girl; TWO 'first' Christmases in one year! Guess that's another reason Mom & Dad called me 'Lucky' before I was born.Family picture time! Thanks for my pretty dress Grammy.
Silly Auntie! I was just kidding about drinking beer with you. Louis, did you already have one with her?!Four generations: Great Grandma Puhek, Grammy Di, my mommy & meCool sled Grandpa! Was this really yours when you were a lad in Canada?
Hey Louis, why are you dressed like me?! First these people put us in boxes & now they dress us like Santa Claus? Makes me nervous for Easter....More Presents! How did Nani & Papi get my new bike here? Hmmm, my daddy better not tell me this is my 8th Birthday present or something.
Wow, Louis got a present from my Nani & Papi too! That tool bench looks just like your Daddy's Louis.
Man, I am beat Louis. What about you? These guys wear me out.
